Tillema J, Granberg C, Driscoll S, Landry B
Mayo Clinic Children's Center, Rochester, MN, USA

Acute flaccid myelitis has been increasingly recognized over recent years and is still a bit of an enigma. This course focuses on myelitis in children and adolescents including potential causes and pathophysiology. We will differentiate treatments and outcomes for youth with acute flaccid myelitis and transverse myelitis. The expert panel will consist of a pediatric neurologist, pediatric urologist and pediatric rehabilitation physicians, and the course will include both case presentations and lecture format.
